Could I first of all thank all the the guys on this particular topic of conversation regarding my first post realising that I am not the character 'Johnny Bluck. Secondly to (Fox Dropper) and I think (Bosnun) , you both are totally off the mark! It was Fox Droppers first comments about my opinions on modern day Authors and the material they write about, that he got somewhat hot under the collar. Regarding my previous opinions about the Authors of today,I will still and always do so say that these Authors of today have done the terrier men a total disservice.' I will not renounce my earlier opinions! If I was an imposter according to certain Paranoid people, why would I mention my friendship with David Grayling and our great friend 'Bert Gripton"?

My dear Fox Dropper, please could you explain to myself why you thought I was Johnny Bluck?I sincerely apologise to any offence that some people think I committed merely on an opinion. 'I take my hat off to Neil for reading with clarity my original post. Thank you! Neil, I do know all the good dog men in your part of the world. Do you know my friend Jerry Allen?I really cannot understand why some of my good friends wanted any of their information divulging in a Book by such Authors in the first place. Also before I depart company could I just say to Fox Dropper we have been involved with the Jack Russells for over 40 years now and strictly only that breed. We did have terriers off Bert, always pups. Plus I have a little bitch near my side as I type this message with some of Berts blood lines. Certainly wouldn't win a beauty contest, but that doesn't matter to me. So for now until the next time. Keep the Flag flying!

You are too sickly nice for my liking ,smacks of the wool being pulled by a con artist .

If it helps im no gentleman either just a lad whos not afraid to speak his mind or let a good story ruin the truth .Name dropping is to me, a cover up to seek acceptance as is describing Mr Gripton as "our friend" when in fact he was a very private man and befriended very few proper lads .

Keep digging Johnny ,who knows you may reach a personal best .

Fox Dropper, to put it in simplistic terms what is your problem? You really need help if you cannot accept a persons opinions about such a trivial subject on the terrier Books and modern day Authors.Your problem is with this 'Johnny Bluck character to whom I have never met or would wish to do so.I have read with a slight interest ,annoyance and also with added bemusement regarding your often polemic remarks about myself.I do feel quite sorry for you in the mere fact that you perhaps suffer with somekind of self-delusions! Your remarks to myself being too nice; well it is quite easy to turn in the opposite direction! If you did read my original post and been observant like some of the intelligent guys on the this forum,like 'Neil Cooney did, you wouldn't be in such a fluster. Neil had the perception to realise what the (truth) is. I hope i'm correct! Please explain one simple thing, if you ever do find out that your behaviour was incorrect would you admit it?I don't think for one second your the person who would admit the 'truth'. 'I hope I am wrong! Now if you did admit about your wild assumptions about myself then of course I be the first to commend you in your appproach regarding the truth.I knew immediately when you decided to bring Bert Gripton into the equation that I'd got you licked. Did you know Bert? As to the regards of saying Bert was a private person if you did meet him he obviously couldn't have divulged any of his knowledge to you. He was a man who had virtually hunted with every fox hound pack in England and Wales. He was a man who taught so many others about terriers and hunting. Ask the professional Huntsmen of nowadays when they would visit Berts place about the great times they shared with him? Ask the countless terrier Lads who he gave invaluable knowled and wisdom to.In my last few comments.I do sense there is a sign of (Jealously) knocking at my door. Please Fox Dropper, get off your high Horse and start to believe in the truth if not to me but to all the good guys on here.......

Some people just cant take a joke .Lighten up mate ,youve passed the test part one so dont f**k up the rest .It makes no odds to me who you are ,honestly but steer away from assumptions about me .Mr Gripton may of been larger than life but i stick by the fact he was a private man who didnt suffer fools and had only a few true friends .You dont know me from Adam mate as i you but if you are on the level and im wrong i have no problem whatsoever in apologising .As for jealousy ,of what ,i dislike russels mate .

If you are the old school gent you come across as, youll soon sharpish learn to write a bit more forthright or get the piss taken .

Ps my folks are from Shap way back and i know a bit about the lakes and its people .
