forest of dean redneck 11,543
Just found this in a ditch. As the sheep have only been here a few weeks, do you think it could be one of them or is it from last year? Meat looks a bit red to be a year old. 20150517_173949.jpg Hang on,don't you know how many sheep there are? Lol

walshie 2,804
Just spoken to the owner of the sheep. He thanked me for looking after them so well. That was one of his and it died within the last 2 weeks. Must be some scavengers round here.

walshie 2,804
Ffs who was responsible for them. The farmer. He's renting my land, not my shepherding expertise. (Obviously)
forest of dean redneck 11,543
How often was he checking on them? I remember when my eldest started at a primary school out of town a lamb died in a corner gateway in field diwn the road, and it stayed there till the grass nearly covered it,couldn't believe it. walshie 2,804
He's been here about 3 times a week moving them from field to field and feeding the lambs. That's how he knows when that one died. Didn't seem at all bothered to be honest. I'm amazed that could go from a whole sheep to a skellington in 2 weeks.
