Chicken_man 1,651
Would there be a repeal in Scotland too? The ban was in place here a couple of yrs before England. I hope so. Atb Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
i cant see them making hare coursing legall again thou after all the police time, money put forward to prevent it. does anyone agree i think certain types of hunting may come back.. hope im wrong anyway the vote is to repeal the ban. Not a modification of the ban. So if it gets repealed, then all rules are as before the ban, for fox, deer and hare I'm not sure what people don't understand about a repeal. They think it's just gonna be hunting with hounds what comes back? Lol Quote Link to post

Atb Unfortunately the majority up North of the Border voted for the SNP and they want more powers and laws for Scotland only and as the SNP are anti hunting, your up the creek without a paddle...haha ..only joking buddy,I ain't a clue what's happening lol Quote Link to post
trenchfoot 4,243
Im sure I read that the SNP were abstaining from the vote. which means that it stacks the result more in favour of the tory party. theoretically. 4 Quote Link to post
Leeview 791
The fishing community is just the support hunting needs! Millions of recreational anglers in this country! Prior to Tony Banks taking the ban Hunting Bill over, the bill was introduced by Michael Foster(who lost his seat in an election )who just happened to be a keen match fisherman that did nt like hunting Y.I.S Leeview 5 Quote Link to post

Yeh but it only takes is swift donation from LACS and Sturgeon could just change her mind, but it seems like there will be a vote on the matter sooner than we thought. Quote Link to post
cocker 2,655
we got a chance here now lads, and probably only the one chance, stick together, keeping looking out for the polls and voting against the ban write a letter to your local mp, try to sway friends and family and work colleagues, anyone who will listen to you, keep positive, cos at the minute we have nothing to lose, but everything to gain 5 Quote Link to post
Rat face 1,655
But their sport wasn't under threat then! exactly it didnt affect them at that point so we stood alone. now the antis are hitting shoots and fishing is coming more under the spotlight. now we should all stand united? together? bit late for that i think? not having a dig at you buddy just my thoughts on the matter Quote Link to post
day worker 296
I quite agree mate but it would make us heard with several million other people on our side! Funny thing is I know a few antis and guess what......they fish. Might shut a few up! Quote Link to post
