Bigad 136
Should have put "don't try this at home " at the beginning maybe? but as title states it is a shooting from Landy vid not a field craft vid but I will have a bash at a field craft vid Quote Link to post

trigger_cairns 3
Saves getting wet lol. Everyone is different and difference doesn't mean wrong. Everyone to they're own as long as your having fun and keeping it safe should it matter? I'm looking to find somewhere to hunt rabbit with my new rifles but it's pretty hard these days to find somewhere that isn't private and not sure how to approach land owners without seeming like a nut with a rifle and trigger happy finger lol. 2 Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
Why the hang-up on Fieldcraft? Looked more like pest control in action... In the rain. Get them any way you can so good job if you ask me, not so sure about the music though. 2 Quote Link to post

Penty of advice on here about approaching landowners Trigger, basically look smart, no cammo, try every bloody where you can no matter how big or small, dont be afraid to ask, they can only say no, you will get lots of knock backs, but keep on trying and you WILL get some land, and a word of advice, do not start your pitch with " could I please use my airgun etc" a lot of farmers still regard airguns as toys totally unsuitable for killing rabbits etc (they are not of course) ask if you can do some vermin shooting, if the farmer asks what with tell him airgun and shotgun, then get your shotgun application in quick if he likes the shotgun idea better than the airgun, you might lose a bloody good permission by admiting you only have an airgun, and if you have a skill (mechanic, bricky, roofer etc) then offer some work in exchange for some shooting, even if he does not want any work doing, he will appreciate the offer, and see that you are genuine, and not after everything for nothing, keep at it and good luck.
