Auto 12 Bore ?

Recommended Posts

Really suffering now with my shoulder after shooting 12 bore i know you will all say i dont hold it right i been told that i hold it as i would hold a airgun but ive held it like that all my life and old habits die hard . Ive shot with 28grm for a long while now but even they are making me flinch when i pull the trigger . Is there a good auto that will cycle 28grm loads consistently ?

Modern autos should cycle 28g with ease. I suffer with recoil and I use a Beretta 302 coupled with an ISIS trap recoil pad, which also gives me the extra length I need in the stock as I am quite tall. There is very little recoil with that combination, but you can't fit the ISIS to the more modern Berettas.

Give ISIS a call, they are very helpful : http://www.recoilsystems.com/

FANNY!!!!'

Lol seriously tho, is there any reason you need a 12? Have you tried a 20? 28? .410 even not much difference between the 12 and the 20 and 28 and .410s are just bloody good fun lol

could never understand why a lot of mates went to 20s then put 28grm loads through a lighter gun = more recoil

Any of the modern Autos will cycle a 28g load. I like the Remington M1187 but the Benelli, Beretta, browning, etc etc are all nice shotguns.

I don't have much experience with the Winchesters, but have heard some good things. So much so I am contemplating a Winchester 3.5" chambered pump action.
