Dead Eyes 681
Bushing Patterdale up for rehoming. Probably about 3 years old. Black dog Genuine reason for getting rid – landlord is a prick. Really upsetting for everyone too because my girls adore him and he’s my best mate Couldn’t think of a better name, so he’s called Pat. It was either that, Doug, or Terry He’s a brilliant little fella but has all of the bad traits from a terrier… Recall is great… until he’s behind a scent. Quick to learn. Slow to bother Doesn’t initially like to leave his catch. Will do after a bit of a play He will drop in but I doubt he’s an out and out digging dog though as he can be called out (in time) despite wanting to go back in. Will find a hole wherever they are, so a bit of a liability in that regard Barks all day when left alone. Bark collar works when put on properly. Usually great with other dogs. Until they start. He doesn’t bark back at all. 95% house trained Will not be broken to small furries. Likely needs to be an indoors dog Now for the good bits; He flies through the bushes . Only enters on scent If it’s in, it’s coming out Fell terrier type jacket I’ve genuinely never had a better family dog. Perfect with the kids, although a bit of a one mans dog (which I like) Bayer/mixer type underground Tennis ball and food orientated – makes training a doddle Crate trained Shits on the grass only No problem to clip/bath/fix up etc Still puppy-ish in his actions Eats only raw – defrosted chicken pieces mostly Doesn’t chew a thing indoors 13 inch tts Entire, and no bother with your leg etc - He’d be more suited for someone with their Mrs and kids at home and a VERY secure garden. He’s not for sale. I don’t want any money for him. But if you’re a tool (or even just not right for each other) when you turn up then it’s not happening. Ideally bring a dog of yours with you so we can see how they get along too. We’re all sops for him, so a pic or video every now and again would please my little’uns no end 2 Quote Link to post
Dead Eyes 681
good luck Cheers I've made him sound bad with other dogs. He's not at all, just retaliates if they're bad Quote Link to post
