Donna Wildwood 288
How old is he? If between 9 to 15 months my bet is he's teething his molars. My collies were gits for chewing then despite having knuckle bones about. i was advised to get some beef rib bones instead and saw them into single ribs. Worked a treat, they could get the flat bone right to the back of their jaw and chew on the sore bits. Bunging the bones in the freezer first helped. The fella that told me about the rib bones also said that methodic chewing where they can really champ down with the angle of the jaw releases endorphins and kills the pain as well as helps the teeth come through. I looked it up apparently it's true! Hence the reason some dogs chew stuff when they are left alone, it makes em feel good
