leethedog 3,071
With all this debate about pictures that get put up and bad practice in the dog world I got to thinking you need a police check and license for a gun and you have spot checks and so on so instead of this ban we all well most of us try to work with would it not have been better if you also needed a hunting dog licence and also had rigorous checks same as gun laws it might of weeded out the shit bags what do you think Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,146
Got no problem in letting anyone see how I conduct myself and dogs while on a dig.I personally believe there should be a limit to the number of dogs that folk should kennel and litters that are churned out.Folks making 40 grand plus peddling litter after litter not right in my eyes, kennel club couldn't give a rats arse as long as they coining it in.Lots of folk on here selling pups for silly silly money to our friends in Europe, shouting pups should be gifted, wrong uns for sure 1 Quote Link to post

marshman 7,757
No no mate bad idea for all manner of reasons !why government in many countries grant licences to hunt allsorts and it seems to work hunting thrives so essentially your saying the government and any relevant authorities such as the I don't know the RSPCA should have a list of anybody that owns or works digging breeds of dogs ? And grant them to who they see fit ? 1 Quote Link to post

leethedog 3,071
No ya nutter what I'm saying is you should have a permit to hunt granted by goverment for a permitted animal in a permitted season like the USA and other places it works for them why not here the ban don't work IMHO it's worth a try atleast people would not be scared of taking dogs to vets for treatment when needed would cut out lots of shit 3 Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,146
Rspca are a charity no more no less, wasting old folks money on Court cases they don't win.Now and then they might catch a wrong Un but concentrate more on folks who follow the Law and hunt with in the guidelines.Dont let every f****r know your business and you won't ever have the displeasure of them coming and talking shit to you, simples really. 1 Quote Link to post

General lee 979
To many regulations as it is everything being pigeon holed I don't think they should start documenting working dogs and deciding who can have them Quote Link to post

Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Class 1 and 2 ,never heard of that and i own both .The fact a man takes the time and energy to apply and is granted a firearm usually keeps him on the straight and narrow .Anybody achieving a log of bad comments isnt fit to own a water pistol anyway therefore is denied on renewal .Firearms laws are there for a reason . 2 Quote Link to post
Mosby 355
All the hunting laws and dog licenses here in the states don't solve any of the problems you are looking to solve. If you saw the poor state of our elk beards and deer in the woods you'd scratch your head as to why we have management at all. 1 Quote Link to post
