Walshie just showed me a picture of this "peacock"...     I think you're ok to shoot it pal

Only a townie would have to ask such a question...... a bumpkin might not know the answer but he sure wouldn't have to ask. LOL

Moved to the country now he wonts to dig up grave yards and kill pretty birds..brr

Dina you listen to them David enjoy the country side pal, it's all a new experience for ya all the very best

Well thank you James. You're welcome to come here whenever you like. The others can get stuffed. :D

I have been told there was one in our village a few years ago.

Being a bit of a townie twat too, i thought cool, like to see another round the houses and was thinking of getting one an giving it free reign.

Then i heard about the dim bird driving people mad pecking at glass reflections and fanning and being a bit agressive toward people, so they say. Funnily it myseriously dissapeared one day, never to be seen again...

So my little plan has been shelved for a bit and i'll continue to put my efforts into the planting of fruit trees around the village for all and future generations to enjoy!

But Golden Eagles and swans aren't on the GL either and they aren't game birds. :hmm:

Golden eagles and swans are native species.......unlike peacocks, townie.

Peacocks are non-native and, as such, have no protection under UK wildlife laws.

Even a townie like me knows that.........

I worked on a gamefarm when I left school...they bred ostriches there as well....right dumb things. The boss was stareing one out and it kept pecking his face 'it doest hurt he said', just then it drew up its leg and massive foot and smashed him right in the balls...put him in hospital for a week. Then the stupid bird stuck it's head through a gate, lifted it up on its head before dropping it's neck with the weight...unfortunately it's head got caught on another gate on the way down and it decapitated itself.

Not a clue about the peacock
