marshman 7,758
Its great if you want to laugh at folk, see state of some of your exes, or like to peddle shit, other wise its just a lot of fooling clowns telling each other all there buissness from what they had for dinner to how much gear they caught while dreaming about it lol could the wife see if I was looking at old girlfriends then ? ? 3 Quote Link to post
liamdelaney 2,587
Im on it to keep in touch with family out foreign. The terrier sites are full of clowns, example, boys from Dublin got lifted after putting up pictures of themselves smiling for the camera in there own back yard with deer pulled down by dogs and boasting about it.Another boy was boasting about his great dog who digs foxs and greys(he thinks nobody but his mates know what greys mean).Another lad is looking for live rabbits to give to his dog,and just for good measure pictures of draw dogs in action. The Police don't even need Sherlock Holmes on the case. 7 Quote Link to post
wild rover 548
Nothing wrong with Facebook, its the people using it, use it right and its a good tool, I run an Army reunion group and through Facebook we have made contact with lads we havent seen for over 30 years, I am also on a couple of dog clubs, where the content is limited, theres as much shite on here and if you think HL is safe and secure then think again, if you post crap anywhere then dont moan when the crap comes back to haunt you. Groups and clubs have admins on Facebook as on here, they monitor whats on, if you choose to put stuff on your own profile then its your responsibility, be smart keep it right. 1 Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,467
If what you do is beautiful, you can show it. Don't matter where you show it (TV, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, local newspaper...). If what you do is awful or disgusting, don't show it. Simple. The matter isn't the media but what you have to show or to hide. Here a link to a Facebook page dedicated to digging. Without blood. https://www.(!64.56:886/pages/V%C3%A8nerie-sous-terre/202445929797379 I want to be clear, everybody is obliged to do some disgusting things. No moral sentence IMO. I have to sort out the beautiful and the disgusting before to post anything on facebook. You have a wonderful hunting culture in France. I wish we had similar here, then perhaps badger hunting would still be legal. Quote Link to post

paulus 26
ffs facebook is what YOU make it, YOU have the choice of friends to add, YOU have the control over the groups you join and most of all YOU have control of what you post. its not an open forum like here, if YOU choose it. neil cooney 10,416
Yes, those who are on Facebook might be responsible for their own content but when that content makes it's way into the media etc. then we are all tarred with the one brush. And I for one don't want to be compared too those dickhead part timers. And to say this site is just as bad is rubbish IMO as in the last couple of years the mods have done a good job (it helps when they're dogmen / hunters themselves) and most folk have copped on to themselves. This and the fact that most of the dickheads have gone to FB helps. If FB is monitored and censored how come so many damaging photos are still coming from it ?? Are the mods hunting folk ? If they're not then how do they know what's legal and what's not ? 4 Quote Link to post

shaaark 11,001
Facebook will be the ruination of the working dog , idiots posting pics of their dogs with illegal game and broke up terriers . Then they start crying when their front door gets kicked in an tey raided Said the same a few months back, not just facebook, but the internet in general will be/is the ruination of terrier and lurcherwork, especially the last 10 years. No-one needs to put any pics up to prove what they've caught, and why some people post the crap they do is beyond me. The internet has given all those opposed to hunting all the ammunition they need to ensure the ban will never be repealed 1 Quote Link to post
