bobcullen79 1,495 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 I`d leave the Leek out bud. I think anything in the onion family is poisonous. Any green leafy veg is fine. I also feed carrots and apples in smaller amounts because of the sugar content. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

They cause a type of anaemia that causes permanent damage to the red blood cells, and can be fatal....... Most dogs like carrot, pear and apple, so try these. Mine love broccoli stem and cabbage stalks - we eat the rest. Vegetables and fruit will need a quick whizz in a blender first, though. Most dogs also love raw eggs, and we also give them oily fish once a week (sprats usually). You only need to balance the diet over a few days, not every single meal. Good luck !
