chisler 90
Evening chaps, been raiding mother natures stock room again, I know their not as good as the ones you chaps have made which in my opinion are true works of art, but there all part of my learning curve, I'm thinking of trying a multiplex one next, also ordered some 1745 tubing to see how it performs. Oh and by the way I haven't hit my thumb lately Atb Chisler

cattykid123 122
the only problem with 1745 is if you shoot it singled you need a really long draw length and you also need furniture grade multiplex is you don't want it to brake on you and lovely natty buy the way

chisler 90
I worked on it for 3 evenings, much to my wife's disgust, 'you are always in the workshop'. only used hand tools, knife and wood chisels, bit of a Luddite.

chisler 90
nice one what wood is it please Hello, it's Hazel, lovely wood to carve, thanks to this forum I've learnt not to varnish it like the other ones, have used some Neatsfoot oil, probably not the right stuff but that's all I've got at present, much better feel to it than the varnish.
