forest of dean redneck 11,599 Posted January 16, 2016 Report Share Posted January 16, 2016 I have used the purple spray on my self before now,lol I used to use a powder to dry wounds up called ster zac ,years ago It was used to dry up new born babies umbilical cords then they reckoned it's better to let them dry out,so they stopped producing it. I've read reports of the wound power drying the wound too quickly where the wound need a moist environment to repair but I've used it many times with good results. The purple spray I use for more minor wounds such as grazes and scrapes etc. Always washed out with saline before of course. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
