logan esq 99
Hi gents, Wanting to get a crono so I check my rifles are all above board. Which is the best one to go for? Atb Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Well a Combro should fit on all of them (£50 inc p+p), I would spend a few quid more and get an alignment guide as well. On the spring powereds check alignment between shots and make sure the fixing bolt is done up tight. They will work on FAC spring powereds as I found out when I over pumped my Sirocco Deluxe gas ram... Quote Link to post
logan esq 99
The crombo was the one I was looking at, as it's the cheapest. But wasn't sure being the bottom of the ladder so to speak that they will be any good. Hence the reason I was asking. So you think that the other "desk mounted" ones are not worth it? jonnie bravo 572
I used a crombo on an S200 and it was great, but be prepared to do a bit of number crunching if you use it for checking average and deviation. The bigger stand alone units do this for you (from what I have seen) Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
if you want a stand alone one go for this one http://www.uttings.co.uk/p119251-caldwell-ballistic-precision-chronograph-cald-721122/#.VU8qE_90y2w Quote Link to post
logan esq 99
Right, I can't afford that vm!! Looks like the crombo it is. Would the general consensus be the crombo will see me good? Atb Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Yes , the best way to attach to your guns is by using one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BREAKAWAY-NYLON-COASTER-CLIPS-FOR-BOAT-SEA-FISHING-RODS-FIXED-MULTIPLIER-REELS-/200832551592 great on spring guns as well Quote Link to post

Adrian Kenny 64
Is it ok to use on an underlever? As it attaches to the barrel I assume? Quote Link to post
