Gaz_1989 9,539
Anthony Joshua's next fight. What are your predictions gentlemen and children ? I predict that Johnson will be the first to take joshua past 3 rounds. And I presict that joshua will be the first man to stop Johnson. Thats interesting What you thinking gnash? Don't worry you can say what you think. I will protect you if south hams doesn't agree and wants a straightener ......I hadnt heard it put like that but im inclined to agree with you mate Sound mate. I'm looking forward to it. I don't think it's going to be an amazing fight but it's another tick in the box for joshua and it will show people that he can take the big shots as well as dish them out. That's if Johnson lands any ?
South hams hunter 8,921
Im 22 which you knew roughly anyway. I asked him a question why he was questioning him if he hunts, talking about you not to you. Surely if you had a thirst for knowledge on the subject you would ask questions? Noone on an Internet forum uses there mouth unless posting a video and the same with ears, your not using your ears reading a forum. I also have every right togive my opinion on anything posted on a public forum How would i know how old you are,i knew you was young i just didnt know how young.....it wasnt a trick question !........Having a thirst for knowledge means you pay attention i dont need to ask many questions i cant get an answer to on a forum of this size......if i need to i dont have any problems in asking questions when i dont know something as many of the chaps on here who have answered questions for me know......unlike some people who just try to front things out when they dont really know Anyway.....ive never claimed to be a grown up but i think even ive got a little bit tired of your sillyness so what with this cyber mission you are on to get me.....you can have the last word if you like alright treacle thank you  ]
MIK 4,756
From what Ive seen so far AJ looks a class act and a very focused ,humble and driven young man and I predict the way he will put Johnson away will show us that there is something special there .....I hope he goes onto unify all the heavy weight belts hes the breathe of fresh air the heavy weight division needs as it seems just full of egos at the moment that are all dodging each other

That's if Johnson lands any At the end of the day these young prospects are in a no win situation at this stage, back years ago your learning would come in the gym but gym wars are a thing of the past now these lads are getting on the job learning and a pay packet on top....but they are not fights you would expect them to lose. Im more looking forward to the John Ryder/Nick Blackwell fight on the same bill that should be a cracking little scrap......and for me the biggest fight of the night....of the year even......infact on a personal level one of the biggest fights i can ever remember is my boy Kevin Mitchell attempting to pick up a world title belt.......dont fancy his chances myself i fear he missed the boat but he,s in great nick and its now or never so i hope like ive never hoped before that he can win this fight.....if he does i,ll buy every member on here a drink .....the weird ones included Edited May 20, 2015 by gnasher16
marshman 7,757
Wasn't a lot of people saying the same things last year about David Price , yer he'll knock fury out and so on lol . Now the same folk are saying the same about Joshua , lads a lot can happen in boxing and they mightn't even meet ! So I can only judge them on what stages they're are at the now in their career and for me at this moment in time Fury would beat Antony Joshua ! In the future who knows, to be truthful I can't see them ever fighting .
gnasher16 30,036
If Fury picks up a world title and Joshua keeps winning you can bet your bollocks they,ll meet why would they not ?.....As for Price knocking out Fury whats to say he wouldnt ?.....Just because a fighter loses a few fights to one opponent doesnt mean he wouldnt beat another one.......its only in todays times of extremely careful match making and fighters desperately avoiding each other that a couple of losses has become so disastrous and career ending....particularly at heavyweight.....plenty of fighters come back to world level after early losses, whether Price can i dont know the kid so no idea.....but theres no reason why he couldnt.

If Fury wins, if Price can come back from losing , If Joshua keeps going the way he is , all ifs that's all I was trying to say . At the end of the day I suppose fights will happen if people want to pay to see it happen , but at the moment it's all if ! Sorry but I haven't read all the thread so you might've past your opinion on this already but if Fury and Joshua happened now who do you think would win mate ? gnasher16 30,036
Anything that hasnt yet happened is an " if " mate ......you think Fury would beat Joshua " if " they met thats ok its just boxing chat. Personally i think Fury will be beaten by the first world level fighter he meets of his own size......mad as it is to say im not even sure Josh is big enough he is a completely different built guy to Fury.....Joshua is an athlete and built like an athlete and for that reason i like to think he would beat Fury even if they met tomorrow.....but if he fell into a messy wrestling match with Fury i think Fury would probably win at the moment............but who knows a few years down the line when a few of the " ifs " have been answered

Lol. Never heard anything like it. He's 35 and lost 6 of his 36 pro fights. Never lost by stoppage. Carl Froch was 37 when he wiped the floor with young groves. Twice. After most of the groves groupies on here said Froch was an old man and past his best. Lol lol.

AKA-BRINDLE 879
whos the other heavyweight from england, apart from furys and price, whos even british champ nowadays, Tyson Fury is current British and European Champ...suprised his ever present fan club hasnt pointed that out...Chisora, Hughie Fury,Dillian Whyte Gary Cornish and Sam Sexton all still in the mix...could be an interesting time for British Heavyweight Division
