Completely illegal to hunt with lol but they are good fun. Some one needs to design one where the forks don't need to be held bolt upright.

Already been done mate. They are getting more popular in the US so obviously the development comes from there. A quick google search will find you em. Not half as cool as a one off natty like this though.

Couple of quick ones.....

 

Do you use the groove at the bottom of the fork as an arrow guide ?

 

What about a installing a guide higher up the forks, where the elastic is tied ? (Is it called a whisker biscuit ?)

the groove at the bottom of the forks are for the arrow fletching to pass throw pass through the arrow shaft sits level with the tube ring i did not wont a whisker biscuit as the catty ammo would hit it

I know this is irrelevant but is it legal to shoot a blowgun in the uk

 

if i remember right you can't legally carry one in public for any reason,so im guessing its not legal.

 

there's a catapult called the survival catapult i think in the US that fires arrows very well,a mate has 1.
