desertbred 5,490
Horses are facing the same problem as dogs they are being bred indiscriminately so there is an excess off inferior stock around so the value has become worthless 6 Quote Link to post

delboy_187 904
Your right Russ about money in proper bred horses but sure if you haven't got the name you won't get as much €€€ you and I know such an such bred this and this fella bred that speaks volumes if that's one thing I learned in the horsey and doggy world . I seen horses turn from hundreds to thousands. In matter of hours . Sure once sold a heavy colt to a lad out of the yard we had him on grass no one seen him for the guts of a thousand went home had wash back up to the yard couple of ours later . See's few boys hogging stable door looked in see what fuss was about there was the colt the lad had sold it to his own brother I played fool asked how much for the colt I was asked over 3 thousand ha ha I laughed I replied asking had he bought it from his brother he said yes I smiled and told him I sold it to his brother earlier that morn ha ha ha should seen his face itching to know how much he was robbed by his brother ha ha. 2 Quote Link to post

Lovely mare she had 4 weeks to drop foal to his own real good blue blagdon horse and look what I missed out on a super little blagdon filly gutted was an understatement 1 Quote Link to post
