Did the ban stop anyone in the first place? I think the good lads kept there head down and the idiots got caught posting on facebook, it would be nice not to have to make two trips for one session tho

Your having a laugh NO they won't lift the ban tory lieing scum

I know what you mean mate, but I heard from a farmer not so long ago that the annual hare shoot last year at Sandringham accounted for about 900 hares, it made me wonder how many other estates have ma

Gaz, I know where you are coming from. But what do you propose we call it?

"IT" is a way off life that we hold dear to our hearts.

We live in a country that does not understand "IT".

They have chosen to ban "IT". yet still we continue to follow the practices that "iIT" entails.

We are persecuted for doing "IT".

Some that do "IT" , do so in a manner that shows us and "IT" in a bad light, I like to think of them as the minority, extremists if you like.

Due to the actions of the "IT" extremists and a lack of any real knowledge of "IT" the vast majority have become more baised against us, often based upon what the media publish about "IT", which bares little resumblance to the real "IT".

Now swap "IT" for Islam, or any other religion you care to chose. There would be a bloody uproar

I don't propose we call it anything mate.

In fact, the less we talk about it at all and advertise it the better, where joe public are concerned.

It's the "we will hunt, you can't stop us, we will kill what we want" brigade that cause the problems.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil ?

Trench, I get what you're saying and agree like I said, but I've said before that to me it's always been 'hunting' not 'sport,' and the sooner 'sport' is dropped from hunting of any sort, the better. Not looking for an argument, but to me the word 'sport' shouldn't be used in conjunction with hunting. And as gaz said, it offends alot of people, and that's really the point I was making. By dropping that one word I think we'd get more people on our side

much as i'm obviously hoping this stupid act is repealed i have a feeling it was stuck into the manifesto as a vote winner and the actual outcome may not be as we all hope. i'd be a very happy bloke to be proved wrong

I don't think anyone thinks it's a dead cert mate. I am definitely sitting on the fence. Not sure what the outcome will be.

But it would be a shame if we are all sitting here in a few years saying "we could of done more to try".

OK I too refer to what I follow as field sports and cant find anything wrong with that, its fits what I(and many others follow) do in fields and call it a sport  Now the anti's describe what we follow as blood sports which is so wrong in many ways but emotive to people ignorant to what really happens in field sports
