Looking at the bulge at the front, it would help if you let the vicar out first!

I've got some 'fancy' green deerstalking trousers that have waterproof patches sewn in on the knees

and the 'backside', they are very good, but also very warm, so if your 'marching' they are way

too hot, I only wear them if it's really cold and I am ambushing.

Got them at the CLA Gamefair a couple of years ago (circa £65).

I might try getting a seamstress to sew a couple of waterproof patches on some regular trousers, I don't need anything too warm as I've turned into a warm weather shooter with my advancing years. Some of the overtrousers seem to crinckle a bit, too noisy.

 

Whilst I'm at it I need to find some springy boots !! Jumping over barbed wire fences at my age is getting harder - not so much the jumping but the landing !! :lol:
