High Hopes For The Future

I was Bored so I thought id type this up, I've been doing a lot of wandering on mine own these last couple of nights after work, promised myself I was gonna keep the bitch right after end of the season and try have another good season lamping her this winter. She's 6 year old and hand on heart she was a good bitch. Not a world beater but a very honest dog that would try as hard on her 1st as her 3rd or 4th. I bought the bitch as a very young lad, from a lad Local out of a pure saluki he bred off fairboy to a bitch him and his dad ran made up of mainly saluki/grey with added bedlington and deerhound, these lads tested the dam to the max pre ban on all quarry and she would not quit I remember the lads doing 5/5 on some fairly small land local to me in winter . I done my best to enter her properly and put as much game in front of her as possible. She was hammered for the next 5 years running by the saying 'If it's in sight it's in range' tested well on a number of different terrains running different quarry's and being lamped 2/3 times a week over the winter. I ran with a number or different lads and men and was never once left found out. She truely did have the heart of a lion. With out this bitch I would of never become addicted to this thing they call 'lurcher work', that I have started to live my life around I've got an arrangement with a lad i respect in this game, for a stud I have a really good feeling about when she hopefully comes into season after the summer. I hope to gift the pups too a few lads I no and trust, so I watch how they progress and in the future take a line for forward from a honest bitch that I and a few others have a great deal of respect for. Thanks for the kind replys lads, hopefully she ll breed something decent as this bitch means a lot too me seen me through the good times and the bad... And I owe a lot too her, I don't think I would be were I am today had I never owned her.
