Introducing Jills To Hobs

Recommended Posts

So I've had my 2 hobs a while now, and I've been thinking of getting 2 jills.

they're in a large pen (think it's 15ft x 6ft, maybe abit bigger) with a 5ft double rabbit hucth.

if I did get 2 jills, how's the best way to introduce them to my hobs? Should I put them in and see how it goes? Should I keep them in the hutch until they're used to eachother? Is it best to intorduce older jills or kits?

Thanks!

There going to scrap when you put them in its a fact if you take them out and put them back in it will go on and on let them settle there postion and its over and done with , But if your hobs are complete and you put any type of jill in with them just now your going to have a orgy

I always remember the first time I put my mates Jill to my Hob. Never bred before that so didnt know what to expect. I was reading up on how you know when they're ready etc etc, my dad always told me when it comes to "nature and animals you will be able to tell and they will sort themselves out".

When i say my Hob in season i realised what he meant and also with the Jill as im sure everyone know what im talking about.

the sounds that were coming out of his cage were..... Interesting at the very least!
