Silversnake 1,099
Both are very different but if I had to pick I would pick Ronaldo first Messi second
budharley 945
There both as good as each other , it s not who you would have but who suites your team . If you've got a team akin to crossing the ball a more direct team you would choose ronaldo if your team plays the one touch football around the box trying to create an opening you would choose messi . There both the best at what they do

Ronaldo it appears will certainly get sent off the field more frequently than messi....which might just matter if your matched.

There both the best at what they do When I have watched Ronaldo, he seems to do most damage with the ball at his feet running at a defence same as Messi does ?........Messi may not look like he is doing much sometimes but he takes a lot of players out of the game. Sometimes it's as much about what you do off the ball and with it Number 10 is such a varied role, the uneducated who had never played the position would find it hard to grasp exactly what the role is. *The*Field*Marshall* 674
I'd have half a dozen Ronaldo's and six of Messi - two great players, I can't seperate them - I appreciate Messi more purely because he hasn't the same physical stature Ronaldo does. I think both could line up in the best 11 of all time.
WILF 48,306
Messi. Fcuking genius. http://youtu.be/DkcHa3H6LTU Forget the goal, watch that clip and you will see he takes 5 or 6 players completely out of the game.......it so happens he scored but he could easily have just layed it off as well. That's what a great number 10 brings to the party.
Lab 10,979
For pure skill and ability it's Messi for me. Ronaldo is a class act as well but the wee man just edges him. Kaka is the best player I've seen live......he run the show at Parkhead that night and he was awesome. Both Messi and Ronaldo I've seen at Parkhead too but never turned it on those nights. I think Bobo had something to do with that.....???
