Personally i think ^ that's bollox..seen barca lull teams into hypno with passing patterns and woosh long ball 1-2 goal, not that tranny cant do it, just dont get marked down that messi can.

 

Ronaldo it appears will certainly get sent off the field more frequently than messi....which might just matter if your matched.

When I have watched Ronaldo, he seems to do most damage with the ball at his feet running at a defence same as Messi does ?........Messi may not look like he is doing much sometimes but he takes a lot of players out of the game.

Sometimes it's as much about what you do off the ball and with it

I'd have half a dozen Ronaldo's and six of Messi - two great players, I can't seperate them - I appreciate Messi more purely because he hasn't the same physical stature Ronaldo does. I think both could line up in the best 11 of all time.

Forget the goal, watch that clip and you will see he takes 5 or 6 players completely out of the game.......it so happens he scored but he could easily have just layed it off as well.

For pure skill and ability it's Messi for me. Ronaldo is a class act as well but the wee man just edges him.

Kaka is the best player I've seen live......he run the show at Parkhead that night and he was awesome. Both Messi and Ronaldo I've seen at Parkhead too but never turned it on those nights.
