Flacko 1,755
Both great messi for me as he proved himself for a long time.
bracken boy 584
When ronaldo is off his game he can still score, its always going to be a 50.50. As both are world class and both are performing week in week out, messi at his very best is a pleasure to watch thow ive gotta say...two very different players also...

onion jonny 527
i believe that without the help of the growth drug he wouldnt be big or strong enough to compete with other top footballers, their must be many athletes that would perform better if they were a few inches bigger or a bit stronger, he is indeed one of the top two but without artificial help he may not have reached the level he has now
bunnys 1,228
brady best both on parif not betta than messi given tadays structure of football ..atb bunnys.

No , He Is The Athlete He Is Today Artificially As If You Remember His When He First Arrived At United He Wasn't The Specimen He Is Today , That Has Been Achieved Threw Lifting Weights Ect Which Isn't His Natural Physique . . It's Only Natural Ability That They Can't Achieve Artificially & Messi Was Born With That !!
onion jonny 527
you cannot compare a man going to the gym and building himself up to a man taking hgh for four years , its a drug thats banned by most sports and many countries including the usa and i'm sure messi spends time on the weights. lanesra 3,994
So Between Say The Age Off 13 & 17 Messi Took Medication & You Hold It Against Him Yrs Later . . He's No Lance Armstrong , Now Thats What You Called Performance Enhanced Cheating . . Messi Was Monitored By Drs & It Was Not Used As A Performance Enhancer It Was Used To Overcome A Medical Condition . . There's No Drug In The World That Could Recreate His Natural Ability & Thats What Matters What Comparing Natural Talent !!
pesky1972 5,382
Both sensational players and goal machines, but for me it would be Messi every day of the week.
onion jonny 527
we agree he is very talented but without taking a drug for four years he wouldnt have got his talent on the park, a drug that helped him grow bigger and stronger a drug thats banned by most countries and nearly every sport, why is it banned because it helps you be stronger and bigger, how many boxers with talent sprinters with talent weight lifters with talent wish they could have the use of a hormone that gives them more strength or a longer reach or longer legs, river plate had young messi but decided it was both to costly and even to dangerous to give him this treatment over the time he would need it but barca took the chance, ronaldo took to the gym and trained. it doesnt matter that he didnt take it to help his performance the fact is it does help no matter the reason it was taken. gnasher16 30,580
Must admit i wasnt even aware Messi had ever taken a growth hormone.....does make you think like. As for saying Ronaldo has been lifting weights so hasnt got the natural physique he was born with well thats just being silly
WILF 48,121
Ronaldo is in top condition and anyone who says otherwise is deluded.......as has been said earlier, they are different players who fulfil a different role so you cant really compare. It's Messi all day long for me but that said I have a deep admiration for Ronaldo because it's obvious that he has had to practice endless hours and train hard to become the player he is......you can just see it. Messi was just born doing what he can do. Edited May 10, 2015 by WILF
