francolin 449
if they turn out to be a pair that's a result, would have thought there would be a bit of falling out with two males, this time of year,as said put some material in and a nest pan, good luck
fireman 10,947
Yes they might well feed each other as do hens if there's no opposite sex to woo,the urge to pair up and breed is strong in some,,,good luck on them being a pair...
pappabear 128
Thanks guys I won't be disappointed if they are 2 males as not planning on doing too much with canaries as waiting till the end of the season , I have got back in touch with Geoff walker the author of the canary books ( as he only lives 5 miles from me would be rude not too ☺ ) I was going to buy a couple of pairs from him then the rats visited so I cancelled , I have reserved a pair of recessive white brown opals and red agate mosaics . My plan is to keep the zebra finches over summer then just canaries from then on , but I will put a pan in is it best sited in the flight area or inside the shed . Thanks again ☺
