YorkshireMan06 0
Hi everyone, I'm a 17 year old lad from West Yorkshire who wants to get into Game-keeping and Game Management. I have zero experience in the industry and I'm about to start a Countryside Management L3 course in September (love wildlife and working outdoors). This course will give me a solid qualification and an insight into Game-keeping, as it's a covered module. However a course does not substitute for real practical experience. I was wondering how I can go about gaining experience as I'm not sure where at all to start. I'm sure college will be in contact with local estates and may be able to offer some experience, but that means finding out in Autumn. Any advice at all would be much appreciated, I'm a hard worker who wants to learn as much as possible. Once again hello! Quote Link to post
YorkshireMan06 0
Sorry forgot to add this earlier (seems a bit of a daft question) How do you find a local keeper? Will every estate have one and does anyone know any around the West Yorkshire area? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to post
