BogdanS 21
Hello folks, I would like to present some of my latest scrimshaw work. All of these are made using ivory alternative (i am also using natural materials). 1. These 2 are some pendants i made for my lady 2. These are some comissions: lizzard belt buckle, a watch dial for a scuba diver (weird thind to wish a shark on it ) and another one prepared with an argali sheep for a hunter (unfortunately i have no pics with it mounted). Hope you like them! All the best,Bogdan
BogdanS 21
Thank you very much Sir! In order to answer the question the material is indeed resonable priced, the natural good quality ivory is very expensive. The bone/horn etc. looks really nice once engraved (attached is a squirell on moose horn i made for a customer) - it has a lifelike appearence. The alterantive material is also very nice and it is used for items that needs dimensional stability during long periods of time. All the best, Bogdan
