I bought this dog hoping to use him flushing rabbits etc,he was kept in a back garden,sleeping in kitchen at night,he has accidents at night,very submissive rolls over pees,etc.

I got him jabbed,was going to get him castrated but his front teeth hadn't dropped properly so vet wouldn't do it,he doesn't stray far off lead,on lead he doesn't like cars,barks at strange men, he needs socialising and training,I was told he's poodle x Russell?

He's nice dog but with what's going on with my kid at school I'm best rehoming him

Im Going to ask £100 to deter people trying to make money selling him on.

If that works it's a white and black ,broken coated dog.

Poor little thing. Sounds as though he's not had the happiest of upbringings. Needs to go to someone with a lot of patience, time,calm attitude and no immediate expectations, which is not to say that he won't make a good little worker some day.

 

Edited to add: sounds as though your vet has a modicum of dog sense: the last thing this pup needs is early emasculation (castration). He needs all the hormones he can get if he's to develop into a confident dog.

The right person could work wonder's with this fella and i think he would be so loyal to whoever spent time with him and learned him the right way's, could even end up being a bit of a moocher, i think you need someone who has no dog and really want's to put the work in, good luck and hope the little fella find's his place.

On a serious note is it best to rehome where they might not have a clue how to get it right??

 

Hope it doesn't end up on the bandwagon mate IMO a decent pet home where the people understand and will give it what it needs. Maybe a farmers wife type for example

You know what I honestly can't remember .couple months?

I've had him here ,had to keep him in whilst being jabbed,bonding etc,then been taking him out over fields out back.

sounds like you've done the little mite a very big favour. I would be looking for probably a knowledgeable woman or a very, very patient/soft man for him, someone probably on their own, with tonnes of time for him to put right what's been done wrong before you had him, and he'll turn out ok.
