desertbred 5,490
Look at it this way what ever it is good or bad there is little or nothing you can do to alter the situation is there. So go for your tests and lets all hope you are given the thumbs up .Your Mrs doesnt need to be put through the ringer and certainly your 12 year old doesnt deserve that kind of weight on her shoulders so front it on your own untill you know one way or the other, your a whinging c**t anyway probably man flu.All the best anyway Edited April 29, 2015 by desertbred

sandymere 8,263
Likely nothing much but, smokers continue reading I don't know the history or your age but if they mentioned COPD then you are or where a smoker so it’s really simple. Stop smoking. then stop again and again and keep stopping until you’re a non-smoker, then if its COPD http://thorax.bmj.com/content/61/11/935.full it'll stop deteriorating and your lung function will improve, At the same time your reflux will improve and thereby reducing chronic cough syndrome 2nd to reflux if that is the cause http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3740808/ , mild heart failure is treatable, TB is treatable, lung cancer isn't that common and you can reduce your risk considerable by guess what????????????????????????Stopping smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15292933 Fecking simple really if you care about your family stop smoking! If you have stopped then on their behalf good on ya! And another http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK44704/
mushroom 13,256
Stopped smoking, still have the odd joint on a weekend mind. I'm under no illusions whatever the issue is its more than likely related to smoking and by proxy my own fault

socks 32,253
It all depends on your character as to whether you need to tell your immideate family ... I can cope with things on my own and no matter how stressed or worried I am my family would never know so I wouldn't tell them anything until I knew the facts BUT if your the type of person that is going to show stress by being snappy with your family or depressed around them then clearly you need to tell them what's going on ... If it's bad news will you be having an auction of your hunting kit ... Oh and will it be free p&p ........
