How Much To Charge For Board

How much do you think I should charge my 22 year old son for board. do you think £60 a week is ok. he his 22 and brings home about £200/£250 per week. I was paying £30 per week 23 years ago before I moved out.

If you don't need the money off him why not put a few quid of it away for him without him knowing...

£60 sounds more than fair :yes: too many kids these days get away with staying at home, earning and not putting anything in the pot. How does that set them up for life in the real world?

Your son will thank you for it when he's standing on his own two feet and all his mates are stil living with mam and dad in their 30s ;)

I paid £50 a week & £60 is fair......I worked with quite a few young lads over the years that never paid a penny haha.....

Don't feel guilty about it, you leave school, get a job & pay rent......simple as that....

Then you die.... Lol how could you take your boys money he will think your a right cnut :laugh: just make sure he saves his bit of cash and when he does move out he will have a bit... I wouldnt/wont exspect a penny off my children il look after them until they move out end of.

 

 

And they will also no things dont come free as thats common sense
