Something you'd want to ask someone in the know about, could try giving DEFRA a call? Quote Link to post
myersbg 1,385
You are definitely not allowed to release a pest species. Just dont get caught 2 Quote Link to post
krawnden 1,036
I'm pretty sure that rabbits are like squirrels in as much as once you've caught one it's illegal to let it go again, wherever that might be Quote Link to post

If it was a case of good land that had been wiped out by mixy I might be tempted to give it a go. If you do decide to go for it bigad just do it discreetly. The one 8,485
Ive got a couple of small holdings at the rear of a sspca rescue and i snare the fence lines the head inspector walks there fields with her alsations but theres nothing she can do as they know as well as i do thats where they let there rescued animals go on and it causes trouble to there neighbours , So one year there burrows go cleaned out but there repopulate them and they seem to be able to hold rabbits Quote Link to post
