YOKEL 2,215
I think if the Fury lot were truly confident in their man he would of been fighting a higher level of opponents than he has been, its the thing to do these days once a fighter reaches a certain level they use " not losing " as a way to shift themself up the rankings into mandatory position to get the one big payday.......but credit where its due he,s playing the game and seems to of matured a bit of late i like the cold calculated way he dealt with Chisora,i dont think he,ll beat Klitchko but from watching his fight the other day Klitchko isnt the fighter he was it will be a battle of the jabs for me and while Fury probably has reach on him and is very unorthodox i think the solidity of Klitchkos jab and his experience will be too much for Fury but i hope im wrong. I was reading that Haye making a come back, his shoulder injury is ok now, do you think he will ever get in the ring with either above Gnash . I always thought that( IF )Haye was on form mind/ body he would beat both of the above .? i wouldnt believe any bollox that haye gets a few journalist mates to publish on his behalf bird .hes a bottler mate .hes been asked i dont know how many times to show his shoulder scar .no ones seen it yet .hes pathetic mate a coward with no pride think it's a bit harsh to label a man who unified the cruiser weight division by traveling abroad, suffering an early knock down, only to get back up and stop mormec in his own back yard a coward!!!! or any man who climbs thru the ropes for that matter... gnasher16 30,024
look at the 7ft+ valuev taken down the 6ft odd 15 stone haye... Yokel If Valuev was a world champion quality boxer regardless of size......then im a world champion quality ballerina.......regardless of size ! Ali would have beat both on movement and speed alone virtually every fighter interviewed puts him as the greatest boxer of all time, He was the greatest heavyweight of all time without doubt..............but that was the days before freak size fighters........can you imagine a 5 ft 11 inch/13 and a half stone Rocky Marciano trying to fight a 6 ft 9 inch/19 stone Tyson Fury ?.........................it would be like me bashing my son about it wouldnt even be a fight......and thats the mockery being made of iconic heavyweight champions. A young lad could be coming through the ranks of heavyweight boxing showing himself to be the greatest talent the sport has ever seen.......but if he is under 15 stone he might as well go and fight in the ufc ................what a farce !! Hopefully someone tells him he needs to start from the bottom of the que again so it discourages him from making his comeback he's been on about for ages now

YOKEL Taking ridiculously awkward size away.....do you think Valuev was anything more than an average/decent boxer in any other generation than this one then ? Lets be honest and straight about it.....fighters like Klitchko/Fury/Price ( basketball player types ) couldnt lace David Hayes boots for technical ability and punch delivery.......at the same size it wouldnt even be competetive. Who ?...................name me some other world class fighters throughout history who were 6 ft 8 + ? What im saying is these men are winning fights because of their size not because of their boxing ability and thats wrong........we have weight divisions to stop that happening......just as long as you are below 200 lb that is Human beings are evolving bigger......boxing needs to evolve with it. YOKEL 2,215
just to clarify, YOU said, average/decent freak size fighters were winning over better/smaller fighters by size alone, i pointed out to the vastly, size wise mismatch, that was haye/valuev as a counter to that notion...just incase there is confusion...
