Mosby 355
That's a damn good deal Fatman. I butcher all my dogs meat, dead livestock, hunter's venison, elk scraps, wild ducks, nutria, beaver, you name it. Kibble can't keep a dog like raw can. As to over the top regulations, that's everywhere with dogs. Dog food companies push the laws. Here we even have certain companies' dog house brands put into legislation. We're run by retards and money. 2 Quote Link to post

steve t 931
yes your best bet is to find a small abbatoir that kills a few cattle and sheep, these places are getting less every year though and the amount of people trying to get stuff is increasing, when I was going thred be a few dog lads and a few African lads all nearly fighting over trope 1 Quote Link to post
steve t 931
My mate who is a butcher calls tripe the fifth quarter as demand is so high, all the big places are exporting it Quote Link to post

THE GENERAL 1,982
It's depends where your from. I've worked in boning halls and kill floors most my life and it's been mostly readily available for me. After the foot and mouth of 2000/01 think it was in around that date anyway, they tightened up the laws and it stopped the likes of joe public dandering into the kill floor to get bellies of the likes of me for their dogs. I used to sell 1 cow belly for £1 or 10 lambs bellies for £1 and made a good killing at it every week. Good clean fresh well washed tripe still warm at times just out of the animal. You couldn't beat it. Now I'm a butcher so my dogs get beef and all sorts but I don't bother with the tripe as much. There's plenty of it here. Some lads have got licenses and buy it from the local abattoirs and mince it, bag it freeze it or sell it fresh to the doggie men. Depends who you get it of really but alot of it isn't even half washed properly they havnt trimmed the fat of it and they just can't get it bagged up quick enough to make a killing at it. Wouldn't have happened on my watch mind you lol, I'll stick with the beef for now. Edited April 25, 2015 by THE GENERAL Quote Link to post
