pesky1972 5,325
Lost Bella my 18 month old Collie-Grey last night. She was the first lurcher I've kept in a few years, and the first since my kids arrived, so she wound up as much of a pet as she was a working dog. Broke her neck after taking a heavy tumble and had to be pts. Just finished her first season and was shaping up really well, and she'd matured a lot in just the last couple of months, so I had high hopes and was really looking forward to next season. Gutted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I've posted a few photos of her on here before but these will be the last. R.I.P Bella pup. 2 Quote Link to post

Saluki246 1,053
Its a tough old game the lurcher scene, sorry for your loss, not easy when it happens, hapened to me last year. Most hard working lurchers dont make it to old bones in my experience. Its hard to carry on at times, what with all the injurys ect..hope it does not put you off, but understanable if it does...r.i.p Bella.. 2 Quote Link to post
