baz 463 Posted November 18, 2007 Report Share Posted November 18, 2007 because there easy on lamp, and no test for a decent dog....its far more rewarding to catch them daytime.....i havn,t lamped hares for years now, but i ran some last week and the dog nailed every one he ran easily, i only did it because all the ground i course on is rock hard and the dog needed to get some running done, i wont be doing it again, as its a waste of a good animal to be caught so easily.
