Four dogs is completely unnecessary in my opinion.

Yeah i agree complete overkill to use 4 dogs! I also find it pretty unsporting and unecessary when you have someone in the background saying things such as wreck the b*stard, you b*stards, kill the f**er! as i have seen on another coursing dvd.

 

A sporting sort should tip there cap to the strong hare that has managed to evade capture and gone on to breed and run another day!

I enjoy watching 1 or two dogs, dont mind if they want to run 6 it just doesnt look as neat, and tidy. But i prefer to run single or 2 dogs, Now whats all the hype about these salukis the ones ive seen course are boring as, they just run around in circles. I like something with abit of whippet in it so its hard up the hares ass and follows it on the turns, just my opinion but this is what i think exiting coursing is all about.

p.s Isnt it fantastic watching those hares run, they way they dance about and make those dogs work there ass off, I really think this is the best thing about owning sighthounds, watching them course a hare.

Mate in my situation you will be lucky to get your nice course at daytime. Hares only travel into the feilds at night, You only see them in the bush during the day

Hi there guys i knew on here so i wont say to much, but that was the biggest load of shit ive seen in a long while. The best thing about it is them guys probably brag off in the puib when they get back 5 out of 5 an all that shit. Ive had lads like that take me out and they wonder why they get shown up it aint the dogs fault they just dont know how to got the best out of a dog. Catch at all cost thats what they are and they give proper sportsmen a bad name.
