What is interesting about snp ,,,is that they have had such a landslide victory ,,yet narrowly lost on the referendum thing,,you would think with this landslide and vote of confidence in the party in Scotland they would have wone the referendum .....

Is it a vote for sturgeon ,,,,over salmond ,,,,,and would snp wone the referendum under sturgeon ,,,,,

What's you scots lads think?

The SNP got exactly 50% of this vote in Scotland mate, that means the other 50% of the vote was spread out amongst all the rest.

The Nationalist will whinge about it not being the government they voted for

SNP will try everything to be awkward towards the tories

Cant stand the tories either Davey...I mean more between the "people",travelled all over Scotland fishing/holidays/working and never came across any animosity of any kind (its not S.Wales  ),love the place.Id hate for that change

You would be surprised how many Scots didn't vote snp mate.

The results are in and that's the way it is, but the fact is there are a whole lot of people in Scotland now who have little or no representation in parliament.

I'd add ukip to the equation also, 3 1/2 million people in this country voted ukip and they have one mp, the system isn't working.

I think it would be missleading to view the SNP whitewash as an indication the Scottish have changed their minds about independence. The SNP offer the Scottish, as part of the Union, a better deal than the rest. Even if you are pro union, it makes sense to vote SNP. No?

As an Englishman I couldn't give a f**k what they do now. I want a strong Union.
