Joe1888 672
You stay in england right? Nope I stay in Cataluna and yes I do support their independence they have real money and industry mate. Scotland has a pipe dream and fuuck all money remember your major argument last time?? The oil will see us through  1. it isn't yours, 2. it's collapsed in price, 3. you've been warned by most SCOTTISH businesses that they will do one from Scotland, 4. You will have no currency options it will either be by force with no control (pound/Euro) or worth fuuck all due to Scotland's economy..... Good luck Just caught your edit mate, If your going to try quote me, please do it correct.. Scotlands economy doesnt depend on oil, oil is a bonus, a very good one at that we can go into details once again if you wish, then when it doesnt go your way you can chuck insults and say thats it am done talking to you for about the 10th time? Have a search on the letter that was sent to alex salmond from the house of commons about scotlands economy, ref.98/8/56 ep/rjt ... We can go over the previous stuff aswell if you want? mackay 3,358
So Joe, a genuine question, why would you want to be free of Westminister and then have Brussels dictating our countries affairs. Hardly independence is it?, oh and please don't say they won't Sturgeon has made it abundantly clear she's a Europhile.

Take it your a ukip supporter, out of interest mate, where in scotland are you from/live? Scotland standing on its own, putting scotland first, investing what scotland brings to the table back into scotland sounds not bad to me, instead of other priorities;) I have no problem with an IScotland being in the eu, its said Scotland would get a better deal from it than it does currently as part of the uk, maybe scottish farmers would see the money that west minster kept. Cataluna's answer to to this is to become an independent state like Andorra, Litchenstein or Luxembourg, Norway or Switzerland Scotland could do this but will suffer from the devalued economy and loss of business for years Edited May 6, 2015 by mushroom
Joe1888 672
mushroom, as an expert economist, do you agree with steve keen? http://everyinvestor.co.uk/2015/05/05/video-steve-keen-criticises-naive-austerity-politics/ Indeed, while not endorsing any political party, he does acknowledge that the economic policies of the SNP and Greens make more sense. I'd be inclined to think we would have more clout in Europe as the uk as it is now rather than four smaller countries. That scenario would be right up Brussels street. I'd be inclined to think we would have more clout in Europe as the uk as it is now rather than four smaller countries. That scenario would be right up Brussels street. The eu sent money over for scottish farmers etc, west minster decided to keep it.. Am suprised you never heard of that before the referendum.. I could be wrong, am sure it was argued that if scotland was independent farmers etc would have been £1 billion better off over the next few years, thanks to the eu.. If there was a vote on the eu, and say scotland, wales, and northen ireland voted to stay part of eu and england voted to leave. Do you think that would be fair, as a family of nations?
