ROB.BOB 21
Not lurchers but you guys are the ones to ask, I'd expect a purist rant if I put this in the gundogs section. I've got a first cross pointer lab and a second cross bitch, think I've phrased it correctly? (two first crosses where the parents) I'd like to breed from them in the future, could I expect something similar to either of the parents are something totally random?? Quote Link to post

shaaark 10,907
Maths aint my strongpoint, but it sounds like you'd have 3rd gen 1st x pups mathematically, but genetically the pups could throw most ways. Genetics aint my strongpoint either lol. I think think you'd end up with most of the pups same as the parents. Be nice strong athletic types Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
You will find that they vary in between some slightly more to the lab some to the pointer ,unless you are line /lnbreding to "fix' traits where you double up on the same genes almost deleting some others this is how most pure breeds we're created whether they inbred for looks or performance and started looking similar as a consequence. 2 Quote Link to post

ROB.BOB 21
I'll try and add them but Ive struggled before to upload them. My bitch has pulled more to the lab, a littermate ended up like a white first cross, beauty of a thing Quote Link to post
