GPT1973 5
My new neighbour a couple of doors down has 3 cats already seen 2 of them come across my garden with birds one once with a black bird then a robin the other with another black bird. Poxy things will do more harm than the magpies.there is a large shoot on the land around here and when they release the partridges they will have a great time picking them off. I have been told they are classed a vermin in Australia if they are a certain distance from where they belong. Shame its not the same here.

jigsaw 11,865
its funny that i put this post up and this morning just nearing the beach I turned the corner and on the road was a fine cock pheasant..,with the van getting in close proximity it ran and flew up over the ditch, another 20 ft further rises a black cat hidden and presumably stalking the the cock,I think I may have saved its life lol.cats are a nuisance for sure,i dont allow my dogs to touch them but if they came on one it would be curtains for sure for the moggy.but its still a thick thing to do to put a boast up of killing a cat with a bow and arrow lol.

Saluki246 1,053
In Australia, any cat seen after sunset, is shot or captured using any method. I have a brother in law living out their and he tells me they are a right pest and the worse thing to wildlife since they were introduced!! Not far from me, their is a feral cat population and has been for years, these cats are no pets and are miles away from domestic homes. They are attracted by a huge dump. THey have taken young pheasents and older ones, much to the annoyence of the local gun clubs, as well as some folks hens would you believe. A lot of these ferals are huge...!! That women was silly to post that and for her to be a vet and not know it was somones pet, well, not sure if its the ginger hair that made her do that or just that she is a fool...lol
