Ideation 8,216
Been trying desperately to get hold of some fox snares all day, but no luck, called every farm shop, country store, gun shop and hunting shop I can think of. . . . . . seems that snares are a dirty word! Now i've resorted to trying to make some, to be honest I have not got the right materials, just some galvanised, thin (probably about 1mm) garden wire, but it will have to do, as i'm unlikely to find owt else at 5pm on a Saturday. Now I need some help making them, no idea how big the loop should be? Only ever made rabbit snares. Need them out tonight, got to kill the b*****ds somehow. Any help much appreciated! Ideation 8,216
Any tips on the size of loop, will be setting them on runs under the fence. Have some on order, but need to do something tonight. It can't be shot or dogged very easily or it would have been.
