Here's a pic. of one I snapped in the garden last year.

Top one looks like a cardinal, used to get some truly massive ones when we lived in our previous place, could see the hairs on their legs. Have had a couple in this place and I just let them get on with their life, indoors or out. Wife doesn't like them though.

See, I bloody knew i wasn't a lunatic!!

Patterdale, last week I'd a thread on about how big the spiders was this year. It was a huge one in my bedroom.

thanks for that I'll now be wearing big granny pants from today :laugh:

 

 

Seriously though there horrid things. Must be time of year for these big badass ones. My pig house has a few big daddy's in, walk through one of those bad boys webs you know about it :icon_eek:

One of the cleaners at work is scared sh*tless of them and somebody collected a couple of big ones and left them in her cupboard in a plastic food container her scream was terrifying
