Guest alcapone
A man one said to me "black dogs should live alone, work alone and die alone" theres plenty of truth in that. 1 Quote Link to post
Wirey 23
I would always keep two together, think its best for company, never had any trouble..touch wood.. Think it depends on the dog and if they've been well socialised.. Some would say you can't rear two pups together, I've done it.. How else are you going to keep your lines going? 3 Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
We have alway kept terriers together (never owned black terriers) and never been any issue d real note. I guess it depends on the type of terrier you keep and knowing them well. My dogs are kept in the utility room and when they are in there they sleep pacing up and down. If they are restless they need more work or exercise IMO admittedly some dogs are easier to knacker out than others but it's our job to make sure they get hat they need and then chill the rest of the time atb 1 Quote Link to post

Bradford Lad 74
Some interesting opinions and experiences in the replies. I'd hate to think any of my dogs kept seperate are bored in their kennel. I always have chew toys an food filled toys that they have yo work out how to get at the food, i leave an un flagged square in the middle of the run so they can have a dig. What other things do guys put in the kennel to keep them interested? 1 Quote Link to post

I give them whole don't do anything to them but I keep bulldogs, you might want to remove the teeth if you're giving them to smaller terriers? If you give them to your smaller terriers don't forget there's a lot of flesh on a pigs head, you'll want to adjust how much you feed them on the days they get one. I've fed terriers all sorts of animals of various sizes. No need to pull anything. The dogs will leave what they don't want to eat (in the case of mine, normally only the molars). 2 Quote Link to post
