darbo 4,776
Some good fights coming up at the O2 May 30th London IBF Welterweight Title Kell Brook vs Frankie Gavin WBC Lightweight Title Jorge Linares vs Kevin Mitchell IBF Featherweight Title Evgeny Gradovich vs Lee selby WBC International heavyweight Anthony Joshua vs Kevin Johnson British Middleweight Title John Ryder vs Nick Blackwell Cant make my mind up about Gavin a talent but seems to blow hot and cold. Can Mitchell fulfill his potential and win a world title. I like the look of the welsh kid selby and Joshua is taking another step up the ladder a good prospect .Anybody elses thoughts. pesky1972 5,400
All in all it looks a good night of boxing. Maybe a bit of a liberty Sky making it PPV, but I suppose with so many belts on the card the boxers have got to get paid their dues. Brook v Gavin just looks to me like Hearn taking a safe option. Won't do anything to enhance Kell's reputation across the pond, or bring the holy grail of a 'unification' fight any closer to happening. Hope Kevin Mitchell does the business too.

CushtyJook 1,097
Anthony Joshua against another human punchbag I see, the only thing going for kevin Johnson is that he has never been stopped so if Joshua gets him out of there like the rest of the bums he's been fighting he might turn out to be decent after all lol, but kevin Johnson comes to loose hardly throws a punch and only real positive is he's a tough f****r who just takes a beating

Yeh Johnson is definitely gonna be human punch bag. But like you say he is a tough old cookie, hard as nails and won't be stopped easily. AJ is used to them early stoppages and I don't think it's gonna happen this time. I think PPV is a piss take. I pay £90 a month for sky and gotta pay to watch the boxing. I will moan like f**k. Then pay it. And I suppose they know that. Lol

gnasher16 30,591
Having known the Mitchell boys since they was kids theres absolutely nothing id like to see more than Kevin pick up a world title......boxing is often about timing and unfortunately i think he missed the boat though id love to be wrong. Another cracking lad whos fight im looking forward to is John Ryder and Nick Blackwell.....two real honest kids with a lot of talent.....Hearn has been dragging his feet with John since he lost to Billy Joe probably because he,s not a particularly big ticket seller but could be fight of the night there. Brook/Gavin is a safe fight for Brook before risking him on bigger names. Anthony Joshua against another human punchbag I see, the only thing going for kevin Johnson is that he has never been stopped so if Joshua gets him out of there like the rest of the bums he's been fighting he might turn out to be decent after all lol, but kevin Johnson comes to loose hardly throws a punch and only real positive is he's a tough f****r who just takes a beating I dont remember any of our other big name heavyweights fighting anyone of Johnsons calibre after 17 months as a pro Edited April 13, 2015 by gnasher16
