It shows how a goverment can twist and change peoples views through propaganda to get them in order with there views and mistakes

This was the views of the last labour government as they wanted us to come to terms with their "multicultural" views forced on us as they flooded our borders but now immigration is one of the main topics its apologies allround.

At least Ed sacked the woman who mocked the flag-draped house, I've got much more respect for him after that.

How can they expect us to vote for them when they're coming out with stuff like this. How on this planet does flying an English flag make you a racist? He's either in cloud cuckoo land, or he was trying to make quick points with liberal-left - "if you don't agree with me, you're either a racist, bigot, sexist or homophobe".

And yet in the face of overwhelming evidence of the race replacing, nation destroying going on, we still have people who refuse to see what is going on, I am afraid it will end badly, what a racist wan*er he is spouting about Welsh nationalism, and at the same time deriding English nationalism, the scum should hang.

ive lived in wales all my life, and when wales are playing rugby, you see the welsh flag every where, but he probably would'nt have objected to that, sounds like he was a bit of welsh nationalist in his student days, hopefully he,s grown up a bit since then

It was apparently said during the 2006 world cup so it does seem like a bit of pre-election muck raking...., won't stop a few on here getting their hackles up though...., even it if is a bit late in the day.

With my being Scottish my opinion won't count for much here but..., at the major football tournies when the English decorate their houses with the St George's cross, and every other car has one (or more) of those plastic flags sticking out the window, the last thing I think of is 'simpletons and/or casual racists'. Apart from my inevitable envy that Scotland aren't even in the competition, I quite admire the way the English come out and show their pride in being English and their support for their national side.

The Huw Thomas guy was talking about seeing English support in Welsh towns. Loads of English born folks have settled up here in Scotland and so I see the England flags etc. during these comps, but personally don't have any problem with it. After all it is only for a week or so until you get pumped out in the quarters on pens :whistling:
