Redshank Control Products

Can anyone recommend a chemical product for the control of redshank in game crops, I used roundup last year however it worked at first then regenerated and took over the crop and ruined it. Cheers

I too have had problems with red shank . I clean the seed bed with Glysophate (roundup) . Then when the maize has been drilled and starting to compete and be choked I use Calaris at 1 ltr per Hectare .

we use Samson and calistra as a selective weedkiller ,works well

There are loads of selective weed killers out there . Best advise is speak to an agronomist . I also use Samson and Calisto at .5 ltr per hectare Samson + 0.75 ltr per hectare Calisto for fat hen +grass and thistle or for just thistle I use shield 400 at 0.15 ltr per hectare . This is for use in maize .

Sprayed our maize about two weeks ago .The Maize was full of broad leaf weeds like speedwell , fat hen , purse lane ,and thistle and also redshank and meadow grass . Tried to get some Calaris , but was told it's been withdrawn . The supplier recommended Faize , I can tell you this is a great herbicide for Maize , all the broad leaf and grasses and thistle and dead and the maize is doing very well .
