Lamping

Recommended Posts

We where out last week at work and did what we could with students floating about and got a couple of dozen rabbits . I cant make up my mind to

Give it another bash and try to take another bag of rabbits off it now ?

Wait till the last exam MAY 19 then the students go home for four months and i can shoot every where ?

On one had it makes sense to rest it and let them breed another litter and stops them becoming lamp shy , but it seems ages away

i also agree with this, but as always a hunter/sportsman's aim is not to eliminate all, but to make a noticeable diffrence and maintain it. unless you had no intention of shooting there again, then by all means get em gone lol

Its seem mad to wait nearly six weeks but then i get peace to shoot with out stopping and bringing the gun into the car every time i see anybody but during term time thats a lot and i get to shoot four trouble free months

true there might be a few more but hpoefully they wont be lampshy

and ive got a few farms to thin out till then and the good thing is i can shoot there during the summer when i cant get on most of the farms and get enough rabbits to feed the ferrets all summer
