fireman 10,869
Grand little do mate and well done, good to see and just a little heads up and worth looking into before you buy any birds but some "red canaries " need colour feeding and that will affect all your birds if there mixed all in together, your yellow birds will take on a pink colour. There's some very good canary forums and some very helpfull lads on them, good luck and keep us all updated.. Guest Navek
So different colured canaries will need different coloured feed? So I couldn't have for example yellow red and blue canaries in a mixed flight due to them all needing there own colured Feed for that spesific coloured Canary ? Looks like she's having all yellow or all red lol anyone recommend some Canary types what I can have in a mixed flight were I won't have to individually feed .. Cheers
fireman 10,869
No only some red canaries need colour feeding to bring out the intense redness, without it some look very washed out but a yellow or blue canary needs no colour feeding they are what they are.. Guest Navek
Bloody peed off!!!!! All the feather edging bord on the aviary has started twisting and gaps are appearing every wear. Also where the wood has moved / twisted the nots have fallen out and left holes big enough fit a bird through!!! ...looks like the birds are on hold for a couple more weeks while spend funds on replacing bloody sides .... Not off to a good start
