Guest Navek
Well made a start on my aviary.only made a small one to start off with and then see where it goes from there. It's 6 x 6 x 6 two sides solid and two sides open mesh from top to bottom.have started to place some of the perches in which I've used hazel what me and my girl collected,,think she's more excited to get the birds in than I am lol ...still got some mesh to finish off and roof to put on but its getting there and doesn't look all that bad considering I made it from scratch lol. This aviary is just going be canaries for now but mite try get a goldie cock or a mule to go in there (if can talk the wife in to buying me one )for my birthday lol..will get some pics up when can figure out how to .. Guest Navek
Not the best but I'm no joiner lol still needs roof meshing then going to put a fora gated roof over that too.also need some cover in there which I'm going use old xmass tree and some the ivy stuff frome home bargains.also going to put some bird boxs in there and some nesting pans.. I no a lot of people don't like the little door at the bottom half and prefer the safty porch method which I will be adding at a later date when I can afford more materials as I plan to change the feather edging on the side to plywood and put in a full length door plus safty porch..for the mean time tho I am going to ad a feeding hatch so I (or daughter) don't have go in too much lessening the chance of any escapes . slip lead 862
That's how I started with birds, feeding me dad's before school, he had a flight and loads of breeding cages, I didn't mind the flight but the breeders at that time of year used to take ages.
