Popular Post FUJI 17,327
Had myself a few days up Scotland this week, took Boots & Ruby along for company lol..Went up to Mallaig first then onto the Isle of Skye then spent time around Fort William,Glencoe and also Rannoch Moor before moving onwards to Loch Lomond..seen loads of Red Deer, several Sika Deer,Roe Deer a Pine Marten albeit at night..weather was summer like all along I really enjoyed it,dogs were grand and if I hadn't witnessed it with my own eyes I'd never of believed it as yesterday morning at Firkin Point a picnic area on the shores of Loch Lomond and being very busy I strolled along the shore with the dogs and not 20 yards away in some scrub i spotted a Roe Buck,I called Boots to leash him up and at the very same moment the Roe stood on some twigs and alerted Boots,I seriously thought the worst!! I shouted at him to leave it and to my amazement although he was shaking frantically and with eyes on stalks he never took a yard towards it and it skipped through the undergrowth and away..now I'm not saying the dog is super obedient and I'd not bet it EVER doing the same again, anyone who knows this dog would think "no way" but that's what he done, maybe he's jacked haha,I was kind of chuffed with him being honest as things could of been stressful to say the least!! Anyhow,we will be back sometime soon as I love what Scotland has to offer..its an amazing country ? 23 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,327
Cheers folks..it's a lovely place Flacko I'd definitely make an effort to go there buddy if you've never been before? I love the area known as Rannoch Moor, the pic of Boots at 1st light looking down onto some lochs and peat bogs is taken there, its an expanse of over 50 square miles of harsh terrain,I set off to have a wander over the bogs but I thought better of it after only walking several hundred yards of it and barely able to see as it wasn't quite light and only being on my own I thought it may of been a bit stupid being honest so climbed the hills looking down on the Moor..go do it buddy, you will love it ? ? On the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond ? 7 Quote Link to post
