Formal? - Jairon

Recommended Posts

To whom this may concern...

First off.. I would like to apologize to those offended by my DAFT posts, under the name off "How To Hunting" and such to help advertise the channel I run and the local group i'm in, in my community, I know too full and well that i'm not the best huntsman so this is me apologizing to everyone for being cocky, rude, arrogant and not taking it as I should have (on the chin) and (yes at my expense) we have all had a good laugh about it now and I would like, as i'm only 16 and (I hope) have plenty years left have a clean slate? Im young and eager to learn (as was everyone at some point, past or present) and iv'e been foolish.

It's taken courage to write this and i'm asking to not be knocked down with any more (sensible) things i'm going to post, iv'e been talking to one of the lads and this is why its not as formal as what you might have wanted because we are all here together to talk about one thing, i'd love to have a second chance and be accepted by you guys as i know you're all actually smashing blokes (borderline too much kiss-a*s) as iv'e said its taken bravery (with a pinch of stupidity as you can imagine who I am ;)) to ask to join the forum again in short and not be the one who is thought of as a "Know-it-all" and what not, i didn't enjoy being taken the mick out off but i can see clearly why and it's made me a better person overall, not just on the forum.

My Mother and Father (bless em') always taught me 3 things. 1) Conversate, to have opinions of your own and debate but to not argue as arguments are for the lower intelligence to bring you to their level and beat you with their experience, but debate civilly. 2) Manners. My grandpa's saying was "Manners Make ' eth man" and iv'e always tried to follow that even in tempers or moments of rage, and the last which iv'e seen as my weakest area (but now from this iv'e improved upon) 3) Respect. I respect my parents and respect my neighbours, my teachers and my friends, I respect my enemies for not carrying quivils and grudges, but I also respect all you, your knowledge is important to me as i'm only a youngster hunter, i'm not amazing but what I did know I tried my best to share, even though it was foolish (And i see that now!)

Hope this isn't as "Kiss-A*s" as you've probably read it aha, but yeah you have all actually changed me in a sense of how I am as a person, I don't wish for any more hate and I wont give you any reason to give me anymore lads.

From your hunting novice ;)

Jay

Well done Jairon, eating humble pie is not easy. Yes, you were daft, made a lot of folk very angry actually.

Now, learn and keep the ears and eyes open. We have a great community on here and even old farts like me learn something new every time I log on.

I admire your humility, and I wish you well in your future shooting.

Good on you Jairon, to come back with a post like that acknowledging you mistakes shows a good deal of courage and maturity. Full respect to you and all the best with your clean slate, hopefully you'll stick around and have an enjoyable and worthwhile time on this forum :)

Top lad! when I was young the older shooters loved a keen young lad and the more respect I had for them the more they gave me. Then it's more likely they take you under their wing and taken out with them - then you learn more. The best thing that ever happened in my shooting career!

You will become an extremely good air gunner if you take the advice given by the lads.
